Halloween was a BLAST this year!  Our dear friends, Jane, Katie and Angela had a rocking halloween party... complete with a fog machine!  It was so so fun! :)  The food was awesome, the atmosphere was spooky, the dancing was professional and we laughed... A LOT!!!!!!  Here's some fun pictures from the evening! :)

california here we come!

We leave today!!!!!!!!  At 12:30 our flight takes off!!  To say I'm excited is such a severe severe severe understatement!  Just looking at this picture makes my stomach do flip flops!!  I can't believe we're going to be there in a matter of hours!!!  We pricelined a hotel and got a great deal on a Hyatt hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!  We are going to be spoiled as we cruise downtown disney and hunt for the perfect apartment that we will call home for 6-12 months :)

Brady will stay until this Sunday- then I will go move in with my dear friend from High School, Elaina :)  She is so sweet to open up her cute apartment to me!!  I can't wait to spend time with her and have her teach me everything I need to know!!! :)  You won't believe me, but she's actually prettier in real life! :)

Prayer requests:
1) The Lord would provide the PERFECT place for us to live... safety, price and location.
2) My heart, I know once I get there working at Disney is going to become my ONLY goal and I need to be prepared for the fact that I might not be able to get a job right away...
3) Safe travels-- :)

I walked to get the mail today and found the greatest little package smiling up at me!  My sweet sister, Jamie sent me a "california" package!  She is seriously one of the most thoughtful people EVER!  Here she is, in the middle of adopting a child, planning a trip to Rwanda, starting her own business and she took the time to think of me!  I am blessed by her friendship!!! :)  Thank you Thank you Thank you!

to grandfather's house we go

Last weekend during my trip to Quincy I was able to spend some sweet moments with the greatest guy! :)  A few of the cousins and I headed over to put on a show for Grandpa!!!!!!

We began the festivities with a little piano duet--

Turns out "heart and soul" touches the heart of ALL ages!!  Grandpa didn't stop clapping the whole time!

We then performed a little Miley Cyrus, "HOEDOWN THROWDOWN" dance...  Unfortunately, I have no pictures to prove it-- so you'll just have to take my word on it... if you haven't seen the Hoedown Throwdown- you are crazy and need to watch this video now...

Then we performed some fabulous Disney songs including, but not limited to, Part of Your World and A  Whole New World... also by special request we slowed it down a bit with Amazing Grace...

Grandpa was so proud!!  It was so good to see him! :)

Anabelle did make the trip and LOVED being around all of Grandpa's friends!  She was an absolute hit! :)

This is halloween 2008-- cute Brady was Charlie Brown...  :)  I love that Jamie makes such a big deal for holidays!  :)

This was my senior year Halloween dance...  We are the three little pigs, their houses and the big bad wolf...  we dominated the Costume Contest! :)

Every year in Quincy these were my trick-or-treating buddies.  Sweet Haley and Emily! :)  Hard to believe they are in HIGH SCHOOL now! :)  Love you girls!! :)
